• Parking for the American Academy of Arts & Sciences

  • The parking garage for Friday, September 8 has changed. Symposium attendees can park for free in the garage at 10 Everett Street, Cambridge, MA 02138.

    • After turning onto Everett - a one-way street - the garage will be on the right.

    • Notify the guard that you are with the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

    • It is then a short walk to the Academy at 136 Irving Street, Cambridge.

      • NOTE that you should not park on Friday at the 52 Oxford Street garage.

• Accessibility

  • The entire front entrance is accessible to wheelchair users.

  • Once inside the building, there is a slight decline/incline that can bring people to the atrium, dining rooms and the auditorium.

  • The auditorium is equipped with a lift that can bring a wheelchair down to the auditorium floor. 

  • Both restrooms are also handicap accessible.
